Andrej Kiska

Andrej Kiska založil v roce 2006 nejúspěšnější slovenskou neziskovku „Dobry Anjel“. Po 15 letech v podnikatelské sféře se rozhodl, že své firmy prodá a od té doby se věnoval rozvoji neziskového sektoru a řešení společenských problémů. Andrej je velmi zkušený manažer a jeho profesní zkušenost přináší do neziskového sektoru zajímavé pohledy a inovativní přístupy, zvláště v oblasti marketingu, fundraisingu a transparentnosti.

V roce 2012 se Andrej Kiska rozhodl kandidovat na prezidenta jako nezávislý, nestranický kandidát, protože pro něj znepokojivý stav slovenské společnosti a politiky nebyl přijatelný. 29.března 2014 byl 59,4 procenty hlasů zvolen prezidentem Slovenské republiky. Přísahu složil 15.června 2014.

Andrej Kiska won the Slovak price “Manager of the year 2006” and co-founded the most successful nonprofit charity in Slovakia called“Dobry Anjel”. After 15 years of work in the business he decided to sell his companies. Since then, he gives his attention entirely to the nonprofit sector. He is extremely skilled and successful manager and his experiences will bring very challenging and innovative views to the NGO marketing, fundraising and transparency issues.

In 2012, Andrej Kiska decided to run for president as independent and non-partisan candidate. The reason for this decision was his indignation at the state of Slovak society where established politicians often forget the problems of real people.

In presidential election run-off on 29 March 2014 he was elected president of the Slovak Republic. He received the votes of 1,307,065 voters, representing 59.38 percent of all ballots cast. He assumed the office of the President of the Slovak Republic after taking the oath of office at the inauguration ceremony on 15 June 2014.
