Online P2P fundraising platform www.behyprohospice.cz was developed within the framework program Together Until the End implemented by the Avast Foundation. In partnership with the Czech Fundraising Center it second year focused on long-term fundraising capacity building of 1/3 of hospices in the Czech Republic. The goal was to support hospices to make a significant progress in developing their sustainability by involving local communities as donors and supporters through challenge matching mechanisms, sharing, training, skills development as well as direst investments in staff and campaigns.
The Vision of the program Together Until the End is that as many people in the Czech Republic as possible would have quality information to be able to make informed choice as they are nearing the important, terminal phases of their lives, such as where and how they wish to die, what type of care they will choose and who they want by their side.
This shared on-line fundraising tool is one of the direct outcomes of the two year systematic support. However, it is no longer opened to program participants only, but offered to wide use to all quality hospice and palliative care providers in the country who decided to attract and to build relationships with their donors and P2P volunteers through organizing sporting events, such as runs, walks etc.
