The Czech Fundraising Center is a leading non-profit in resource mobilization and civil society leadership development serving the CEE region and other countries in transition.
Vision
To live a good life means to be able to live it with other people. To be able to live with other people means to share, to have common values, dreams and interests. Common values, dreams and interests are created in communities, in what is nowadays usually referred to as the civil society.
We want to see an authentic, healthy and vibrant civil society in the Czech Republic, the CEE region and in other countries in transition.
Mission
To help civil society and community leaders in the Czech Republic, the CEE region and other countries in transition acquire the capacity and tools to build confidence and long-term independence.
In order to achieve our mission, the Czech Fundraising Center:
- provides top-quality affordable training, consulting and assistance services to civil society organizations in the CEE region and in countries of transition;
- promotes sustainability and resource mobilization of CSOs as a way to achieve independence, thereby developing authentic civil society in the CEE region and in countries of transition;
- operates the Club of Professional Fundraisers in order to support ethical practice and to share knowledge, learning and skills in resource mobilization in the CEE region and in countries of transition;
- carries out research and provides top-quality information about resource mobilization in the CEE region and in countries of transition to all relevant stakeholders.
