Moldova 2014/2015

„Central and Eastern European Trainers Network for Fundraising and Long Term Sustainability of the Civil Sector”. Project was focused on 3 EaP countries (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia), where the applicant has had experience implementing successfulprojects with local partners – training centers and support organizations.  The V4 team will provide resource mobilization know-how, applying effective development models from their countries.

Moldova 2007

Increasing financial sustainability of Civil Society Organizations in the Republic of Moldova by Two Trainings of Trainers in Fundraising and Social Entrepreneurship Fields

The goal of the Training of Trainers programme was to enable NGOs in the Republic of Moldova to research resources in their country through developing their institutional capacity, transparency and effectiveness in mobilizing resources, and promoting individual giving corporate giving, partnership building with governments and social entrepreneurships. 
These goals were fulfilled by training (2 x 5 day workshop) and follow up workshops (2×4 day session) for a group of national trainers in the field of increasing financial sustainability of NGOs in the Republic of Moldova. The group of local trainers (20) was trained and then the top trainers were selected to transfer the knowledge and experience within the Republic of Moldova. Trainers were provided with methods, tools and approaches on fundraising and social entrepreneurship in order to achieve increasing financial sustainability of civil sector organizations. Trainers received special training materials and methodology for fundraising and social entrepreneurship training.

The contract was managed by Jana Ledvinova, the project leader. Additional consultants/trainers (Eva Varga, Petr Baboucek and Jan Kroupa). 
The project was implemented by the Resource Alliance together with the Czech Fundraising Center (Czech Republic) and NESsT (Hungary), partners of the Resource Alliance.

Moldova 2007

Needs assessment and research of local conditions for the development of fundraising, interviewing and selecting the key leaders – NGO representatives and skilled trainers and speakers and 4 week long training workshops were implemented by the team of the Czech Fundraising Center and thr Resource Alliance ) Jana Ledvinova, Jan Kroupa, Petr Baboucek) as a part of the project: ¨Increasing financial sustainability of Civil Society Organizations in the Republic of Moldova“ . Systematisation of knowledge on acquiring resources and funds in according to legislative and specifics fundraising activities on local level in Moldova, suitable methods, tools and skills were one of the major outcomes of this project. The project was supported by UNDP.
